Ladson's Log August 16, 2021: The Day I Became A Full Fledged NICU Graduate and My Week In Review!!!

Been doing a lot of fun stuff these last few days.

A couple of days ago, after Daddy got home from work, we got dressed and went into town because Daddy wanted to "get his steps in," whatever that means. Mommy had a headache so she said, while we were in town, we were going to stop at a Grubbery. We went the Grubbery called Boondocks where we met a lovely and bubbly Grub Server named Summer. She was oohed and aahed over me every time she came to the table and she always had the biggest smile. At the end of our meal Daddy left a tip that almost brought Summer to tears. She told us that, behind her smile, she was going through a lot at home.

The next day we went back into town to go get pizza; well, Mommy and Daddy got pizza, I got the Bawk Bawk grilled chicken and fries. We got to eat outside that day and I watched every Transporter that went by. The ones I watched closely were called Jeeps. Mommy told me to stop staring so closely because Jeep means "Just Empty Every Pocket" I don't understand what that meant so I ignored her and had a conversation with Daddy about them.

Yesterday, we went to another Grubbery where I got to sit in a highchair that Daddy said made him uncomfortable because it was older than him and Mommy...it must be really old if that's the case. We went grub shopping after that then went home to get ready for the big day today.

Why was today a big day you ask? Well, I had to go see the Snazzy Dresser who fixed my belly after I came out of the Biodome last year.

She said I was doing so well that I don't have to see her again and told me that I'm now a full fledged NICU Graduate. She, also, told Daddy that she would love for us to keep sending pictures of my milestones.

I'm exhausted and happy all at the same time so,
